MASSA DESIGN, founded in 2012 is an international architecture, landscape architecture and interior design firm located in Dubai and Riyadh. Drawing from a diverse range of experience, the firm has a strong focus on environmental design and sustainability. Our passion for excellence allows MASSA DESIGN to deliver high quality design work, from urban development, large scale office buildings, healthcare facilities, interiors and speculative research projects to furniture and product design.
Our philosophy revolves around a collaborative practice that is not ego driven. We approach each project as a unique opportunity and realize inventive solutions that turn the very constraints of each project into the design trajectory, exploring opportunistic overlaps between space, program, form, budget and materials.

17 years of professional experience in Architecture and Interior Design is testament to Karim’s lifelong passion for the design process and reverence to detail. His creative work reflects a holistic approach to building spaces that honor community, sustainability and wellbeing. Karim’s role on some of the most prestigious projects in healthcare has garnered industry recognition and awards, notably the Mayo Clinic in Rochester, MN; Sidra Medical and Research Center in Doha; Samsung Cancer Center in South Korea and the Yas Mall in Abu Dhabi.
